I bought a new place from my compensation
Before the floods, life here was good; people lived well, and some areas were used for farming. As the city grew, the land was sold, and buyers built structures that blocked the water channels, leading to the first flood in 2011. Honestly, we went through a lot of hardship. The floods came continuously, so you’d clean the house today, and the next day, the floods would return with force, and sand would fill everywhere.
The compensation I received helped me buy a house in Mbagala. I found a good place, and I use it as an investment, which has increased my family’s income. Honestly, the project has liberated me and my family. Therefore, I am very grateful to Her Excellency President Samia Suluhu for enabling us to live in this beautiful, safe environment. Truly, we are living in peace and tranquility. May God bless her abundantly.
